Policies
- Our service is hotel to hotel and it is necessary to indicate the correct name of both hotels when booking.
- Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to service will be charged 100% of the total cost.
- Cancellations can be made free of charge within 15 days prior to departure; after that time 100% of the rate will be charged.
- Refund charges, such as payment platform or bank fees, are to be borne by the customer.
- NO SHOWS will be charged 100% of the rate.
- Pick up time may vary by about 15 minutes depending on traffic.
- At the pick-up location the driver will wait a maximum of 10 minutes for a customer as this is a shared service.
- If the passenger does not show up 10 minutes after the pick-up time, it will be considered NO SHOW and 100% of the fare will be charged.
- In a private service the waiting time is a maximum of 30 minutes after the agreed time.
- In private transfers from the airport, the passenger must inform about any kind of delay in the flight, the maximum waiting time will be 2 hours.
- Carry-on items are the responsibility of the passenger during the entire trip and must remain with the passenger at all times during the trip.
- Montetravel is not responsible for loss or damage to carry-on items and luggage that are properly supervised by the passenger.
- Children between 6 months and 3 years of age must use a baby seat during the trip. These are provided free of charge and must be requested at the time of booking.
- All transfers include a 15-minute rest stop. This stop may be a connection point or may involve a change of vehicle depending on the route.
- Pets will not be allowed.
- Montetravel may change or cancel any service with refund for reasons beyond its control, such as: strikes, weather conditions, local war or guerrilla warfare, public demonstrations, natural disasters or acts of terrorism.
- In case of legal disputes between the client and Montetravel both parties agree to follow the guidelines of the legal jurisdiction of the Republic of Costa Rica.
